- Proof of Financial Capability Tourists seeking visa extensions must now show proof of sufficient funds for their stay in Thailand. The requirement is a minimum of 20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family in a bank account.
- Mandatory Health Insurance Applicants for visa extensions must have health insurance covering their entire stay in Thailand, with a minimum coverage of 100,000 USD.
- Digital Nomad Visa Program Thailand has introduced a special visa for digital nomads, allowing stays of up to 6 months with special conditions and fees different from regular tourist visas.
